The study was conducted in three Upazilas of Kishoreganj district in Bangladesh. The study found that there was no significant differences exist between two categories of broiler farming in terms of profitability and efficiency achievements. However, sometimes broiler farmers faced tremendous losses in their farming due to spread of bird flu disease. In this case, if they got adequate financial compensation from government, broiler farming in Bangladesh can sustain from subsistence to commercial level. 100 pp. Englisch.…
