Key drugs available in the health complexes were 51%. The average cost of drugs per encounter was Tk. 236. The average number of encounters with antibiotics per Upozila health complex was 13 and average cost of antibiotics per encounter was found to be Tk. 211. The prevalence of acute respiratory infection, dysentery, diarrhea, scabies, fungal infection and worm infection were 16.67, 18.50, 15.67, 16, 19.17 and 14% respectively.Rational drug use and drug availability at the facilities were not satisfactory. El porcentaje medio de medicamentos recetados por su nombre genérico fue del 49 %. Se recetaron antibióticos en el 44 % de las recetas. El 59 % de los medicamentos recetados figuraban en la lista nacional de medicamentos esenciales. Se observó que el tiempo medio de consulta y dispensación era de 2 minutos y 22 segundos, respectivamente. El 36 % de los pacientes pudieron repetir la pauta posológica correcta. El 51 % de los medicamentos clave estaban disponibles en los complejos sanitarios. El coste medio de los medicamentos por consulta fue de 236 Tk. El número medio de consultas con antibióticos por complejo sanitario de Upozila fue de 13 y el coste medio de los antibióticos por consulta fue de 211 takas. La prevalencia de infecciones respiratorias agudas, disentería, diarrea, sarna, infecciones fúngicas e infecciones por parásitos fue del 16,67 %, 18,50 %, 15,67 %, 16 %, 19,17 % y 14 %, respectivamente.
