Some have scratches, others have creases or dog-eared pages, some have rusty staples, some are yellowed or have foxing, others have tears or creases, but they are all true survivors! On front end paper is a stamp (approx 4 cm x 3 cm grid type stamp - not dissimilar to a library stamp) - this is stamp used by the former owner of the book for date and shelving etc. The front cover is slightly bend… upwards towards corners and the spine cloth is faded. Netting very slightly visible on inner edge of title page - but very sound and all very minor, otherwise this is a sound small size 19cm x 11cm slim hardback book with a torn and worn dust jacket. North Africa - this is the 1942 edition.
