Replete with twelve illustrated plates, most of which depict Venetian coinage. Collated and complete.Au Bord Du Torrent: Silhouettes et Paysages Alpestres, written by Albert Bovet and published in 1872, depicts Alpine topography in the Swiss Mountains.Two scarce works bound as one.Containing a previous owner's ink signature to the front free-endpaper, dated 1874. Handsomely bound in half morocco with marbled boards and refreshed endpapers. Externally, lovely, with just a touch of rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, and a very small amount of shelf wear. Previous owner's ink signature to the front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. A few spots to the fore-edge and scattered spots to from pages 1 to 84 in 'Au Bord Du Torrent', otherwise just the odd spot to the otherwise clean pages. Very Good Indeed.
