A tight, quite attractive first edition of this (to cite front flap copy) "Comprehensive View of the American Theatre beyond Broadway -- the theatre of community groups" from the library of a notable Chicago participant, Joseph Hunley (1922-2016), actor and USO performer who went on to direct plays for Chicago's famed Goodman Theatre and founded a community theatre. Front flyleaf bears his large and bold inked "Josef Hunley / Goodman Theatre / Chicago, Illinois.".

Copy belonging to actor Johnny Crawford, with his name on the title page in manuscript ink and his annotations throughout. Embittered after being fired by his brother-in-law, a man takes out his anger on his wife by not allowing her to adopt a child. The episode originally aired on February 4, 1958, on NBC. Housed in a brown card folder with a label noting the script title affixed to the front. Self wrappers. Title page present, undated, noted as production No. 4710, with credit for screenwriter Anthony Spinner. 85 leaves, with last page of text numbered 81. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, bound internally with three gold brads.
