About the Author Joseph M. Stevenson is the founder of the Executive PhD Program. Dr. Stevenson graduated with a MS and PhD degree in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership (K-12), and Educational Policy & Management (Higher) from the University of Oregon. He is a graduate of the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University and the Superintendent s Academy at George Washington University. He holds two other master degrees in Social Science Education, (Government) Educational Administration (Higher) and a bachelor s degree in Government/Psychology from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS). He has completed executive and continuing education work at Vanderbilt University, Stanford University, Yale University, Carnegie Mellon University, New School of Social Research, and Tulane.
