Full Leather. Condizione: Good. Family edition nd. but BL gives 1850. 4 x 6½" pp. xxii + 544 + [8] adverts with Frontispiece portrait of Byron and 8 other illustrations. Good in red morocco with elaborate gilt stamped tooling to both boards. Spine has 5 raised bands and gilt tooling. All edges gilt. Boards slightly rubbed, firm and tight, some foxing to illustrations. Signature on ffep and half title page. No dustwrapper.

Bound in full dark brown embossed leather, spine with 4 raised bands, embossed and lettered in gilt, "Byron" lettered in gilt on front and rear covers; frontispiece engraving of Byron, engraved title page, xii, 544 pages, full-page engravings in text, all page edges gilt; high points of leather covers lightly rubbed and NOT doctored, minimal foxing with pages clean and tight throughout; small paper tipped to front endpaper with notes on provenance.
