Of all the wonderful things Tuli was (writer, wit, mentor, gad fly, anarchist, friend,performer,poet, raconteur, singer & mensch) the one thing he would never admit to was being an ARTIST. In order to placate me & make me schrupp the hell up, we did a book together. Tuli's drawings my poems, LIGHT LIGHTS. to my mind the greatest YID Po ARTIST BOOK of the time. He was also a central figure in the longest continuous, collaborative Art Project in SOHO history, as are YOU while reading this, as is the FUGS ALBUM, 50 yrs & still kicking, NUDEL BOOKS (the eponymous principal speaking) Who's kidding whom.
