The book is particularly interesting because of its author, Amar G. Bose. Before founding Bose Corporation, Bose was an MIT professor and electrical engineer whose academic work included network theory, communications, and acoustics. He coauthored this book with linguist and acoustician Kenneth N. Stevens. Condition: Near Fine. The book is exceptionally clean and well preserved, with a small, neatly written ex-libris (ownership inscription) on the front free endpaper.
