Text is a biography of Dr. Page, including his civil War background, in which he was promoted to lieutenant of the 87th colored Infantry. A medical reformer and author, he was imprisoned for 13 months after the Battle of South Mountain. An important document both in Civil War and Black Studies. Signed.
