Endpapers and page edges are bright and colorful. Lightly signed and dated by the original owner in 1859. Text is printed in double columns with B&W portrait illustrations sprinkled throughout. Pages are very lightly tanned, clean and unmarked. Binding is strong and tight. What an elegant book!
