Program is very clean and intact except for age toning, horizontal fold lines, some wrinkling, and slight rippling along top and bottom edges. A Very Good copy. Program for an upcoming play, Old English, starring George Arliss as Sylvanus Heythorp, the titular chairman of a shipping company. George Arliss (1868-1946) was an English actor, playwright, and filmmaker who had a successful career in the United States. Arliss was the first British actor to receive an Academy Award, which was given for his performance of Benjamin Disraeli in Disraeli (1929). Old English (1924) was written by the noted English novelist and playwright, John Galsworthy (1867-1933).
