The subjects embody a detailed idea of OPAMP in electronics, its different applications, some new experiments based on OPAMP, which yield qualitative and quantitative information about OPAMP. The second chapter is based on the idea of OPAMP. The third chapter is based on the characteristics of differential amplifier, logarithmic amplifier, and antilogarithmic amplifier mode of OPAMP. Exhaustive studies on measuring the thermo-emf of a thermo couple with two and one junction using inverting amplifier mode of OPAMP is given in chapter four. Finally in the fifth chapter a dissertation on the measurement of the variation of Zener breakdown voltage with temperature using differential amplifier mode of OPAMP is given. 68 pp. Englisch.

Corresponding graphs show non-linear variations. The cut-off or threshold voltage at which germination stops, is also determined by extrapolation and the corresponding electric field is computed. Thus electric field has negative effect on the germination of seeds. From the theoretical point of view Lattice Statics and Atomistic Continual Models in chapt…er one have produced, with all their approximations, some interesting and quite consistent results for relaxations due to a vacancy, its formation energies and divacancy binding energy in some FCC metals. Pseudopotential approach of chapter two produces general formulations for the calculation of defect parameters in case of vacancy in FCC metals for self and impurity diffusion. In the third chapter the experimental measurement of impurity diffusion parameters in Pb-Sn system is shown. The results are consistent with earlier experiments and theoretical values by pseudopotential method. To understand the kinetic behaviour of interfacial reactions in Ag-Sn thin film couples the contact and composite resistance measurements are done which indicate that interfacial reactions start at room temperature. X-ray diffraction indicates the growth of -Ag3Sn phase immediately after deposition and TEM and SEM studies confirm its presence. 248 pp. Englisch.

Pseudopotential approach of chapter two produces general formulations for the calculation of defect parameters in case of vacancy in FCC metals for self and impurity diffusion. In the third chapter the experimental measurement of impurity diffusion parameters in Pb-Sn system is shown. The results are consistent with earlier experiments and theoretical values by pseudopotential method. To understand the kinetic behaviour of interfacial reactions in Ag-Sn thin film couples the contact and composite resistance measurements are done which indicate that interfacial reactions start at room temperature.
