New condition glossy color illustrated boards contained in a fine condition non price-clipped color illustrated dust jacket. Includes Foreword by Paul Hornung. Profusely illustrated with color drawings. Unpaginated. "Few NFL franchises can boast the rich tradition of the Green Bay Packers. In addition to being one of the league's oldest teams, the Packers have also been one of the best, boasting a record 12 championships in their history. The Packers are located in the NFL's smallest city, but they have pro football's most enthusiastic fans: thousands pack Lambeau Field for every home game. The Packers have also been blessed with some of football's greatest names, including Favre, Starr, Lombardi, Hornung, Nitschke, White, and so many more. The excitement and traditions of Green Bay Packers football have been captured in this unique and entertaining book, brilliantly illustrated by Mark Anderson and thoughtfully capsulized in verse and text by former Wall Street Journal columnist Frederick C. Klein. It is the perfect way for Packers fans of all ages to share their love of their favorite football team." - from the inner front jacket flap.
