Kjøbenhavn, Bianco Luno, 1867 - 1884. 4to. Fire bind, alle i de originale halvshirtbind med trykte permer. Ex-libris (Einar Andersen) påsklistret verso af forpermer. Hjørner stødte, ellers et nydeligt sæt. Originaludgaven af statsvirksomheden ?Den danske Gradmaaling?, som udførte gradmålinger, altså grundlæggende geodætiske arbejder med nivellement, astronomiske bredde- og længdebestemmelser og indmåling af triangulationsnet. Arbejdet blev banebrydende for geodæsien. Heri blev fastlagt parametrene for en dansk omdrejningsellipsoide med jordradius ved ækvator sat til 6.377.019 meter og fladtrykning sat til 1/300. ?I årene 1853-1884, kun afbrudt af perioden som minister, var Andræ direktør for Den Danske Gradmaaling og udarbejdede Den danske Gradmaaling (1867-1884), som blev banebrydende for geodæsien, videnskaben om udmåling af Jordens overflade.?
