To which is prefixed a sermon preached by the author at Christ Church, Dublin, before the Lord Lieutenant and Council on the 5th day of July 1674. Written by Andrew Sall, an Irish Jesuit, later a convert to the Church of England. Edited, with a memoir and notes by the Reverend J. Allport, Minister of St. James's, Birmingham. Bound in quarter crushed morocco with green cloth boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd mark to the boards. Fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Age toning to the extremities. The odd small closed tear to the page edges, some of which have been sympathetically repaired with tape. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. Very Good. book.
