Condizione: NEAR FINE. First printing, a trade paperback, issued simultaneously with hardcover. These books are notable for the amount of good - and interesting -writing compressed into one volume. SIGNED by Marisa Silver at her story 'What I Saw from Where I Stood.' Also includes stories by Andrea Barrett, Roy Parvin, Alice Munro, Rick Bass, Ha Jin, Rick Moody, John Updike and more. Brief biographies of the contributors. Introductions by Barbara Kingsolver and Katrina Kennison, series editor. Includes contributors' notes and list of 100 other distinguished stories. 378 pp. Very good (would be near fine, but there is some highlighting on a few pages in the introduction.).…
