A Very Good copy. A collection of Indigenous folk tales, myths, and legends as re-interpreted by editor Cornelius Mathews. In his Preface, Mathews writes that his intention for this work is to present his own interpretation of Indigenous folklore based on Henry R. Schoolcraft's interpretation of the original legends.
