2. Undated ( ca. 1941-1942). The artist declies the order for a small engraving ( ex-libris format) because he never worked with small formats. This item belonged to the collection of Jules Gosfils. Jules Grosfils was the animator of two important organisations which promoted Belgian graphic art during the Interbellum. The ''ABDCE'' Association Belge des Collectionneurs et Dessinateurs d' Ex-Libris; and The ''G.O.B.'' La Gravure Belge Originale. On his ex-libris see an article of Dr. Alfred Comtesse in ''Bulletin du collectionneur suisse: livres, ex-libris.Année 2 ( 1928) Issue 6.
