Firzgerald Gore as Nell Lynne and and Arthur B. Sinkler as Abner Heartburn. Anton Bruehl studied engineering in Melbourne, Australia before emigrating to the United States in 1919. In 1924, he left engineering to enroll in Clarence H. White's school to study photography. After Vogue published his photographs in 1926, Bruehl dedicated himself to freelance commercial photography and established his New York studio, which was active from 1927 through 1966. In addition to Vogue and Vanity Fair, Bruehl's photographs were included in many international exhibitions, such as Film und Foto at the Deutscher Werkbund in Stuttgart (1929) and Photography 1839-1937 at the Museum of Modern Art.
