Original gilt-lettered brown cloth boards (hardcover); 116pp. Moderate external rubbing and soil; spine slightly darkened; front hinge (internal) thinly cracked; still about Very Good. Small ink ownership stamp of an E.C. Wagner to front free endpaper. The author was a graduate of Marshall College and a long-time faculty member of Franklin & Marshall College following the merger in 1853.
