Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: As new. Condizione sovraccoperta: very good. Burkert, Nancy Ekholm (illustratore). Stated first edition. 165p, many line ills. printed in brown + 10 color plates. Designed by Lance Hidy; typeset in Dante and Centaur by Michael & Winifred Bixler. Jacket is age yellowed, as usual. Eighty poems by Dickinson, sensitively illustrated by Burkert and eloquently placed within Dickinson's life by Langton. A beautiful collaboration between the contributors, who "immersed themselves in Dickinson's poetry, the objects in various collections, and the aura of the poet's home and other sites in Amherst." Photo is a little too pale. A lovely gift for the Dickinson lover in your life!
