Carta de Obligación (title deed) [Los Reyes = Lima] 31st March 1571. Notarial manuscript on paper. 2 pages of text written in ink in a secretarial hand with calligraphic flourishes. Signed: Diego de Aranburu, merchant. A bond by Rodrigo Vivero, merchant of Los Reyes, Gaspar Sotelo, resident of Cuzco, currently in Los Reyes, and Capitán Conquistador Ruiz de Marchena of Los Reyes, to Diego de Aranburu, merchant, to pay him 2380 pesos, 6 reales, 9 granos, owed to him in payment for merchandize sold by Diego de Aranburu to Cristóbal de Ortega on behalf of Rodrigo de León.
