Usually the…presentation is to "Mom & Dad" or other relatives, but this copy is stamped "The White House." Certainly, one of the most desirable copies to be had!! While there was a wartime rationing of paper and other goods, this large tome (weighs more than six pounds) seems to obviously be exempt. Profusely Illustrated. With a collection of tempera paintings of the Naval Academy by Sherman C. Hoeflich bound in. (illustratore).
