The Grabhorn Press imprint is the Virile Gobbler, a lumpy necked turkey printed in brown ink, above 4 lines of explanation that the image was taken from a piece of Mimbrenos pottery. Measures 9.25 x 13.25 inches. Very good condition, although a few faint fingersmudges are at the bottom edge. Housed in a folding, light blue cover with the title (from the title field above) printed in black. Part of the Arion Press's Roxburghe club collection.
Ephemera. Single sheet folded to create 4 leaves, oblong format, 5.5 x 8.5 inches when folded. Cover leaf is an notice 'of the new home of the Hurds, 80 Mountain Lane, Mill Valley.' The illustration is 'from a 19th cent. American prinbter's scrap book.' - from Hoyen letter. Autograph letter signed from Andrew Hoyem, dated 20 January '69, addressed 'Dear Clifford.' Letter thanks Clifford for lunch and provides details of the printed announcement. A near fine copy. Unusual Hoyem/Arion Press ephemera.
