Aggiungi al carrelloSoftcover. Condizione: Sehr gut. 2. Auflage.

Edition of 278, of which this is no. 18. 11.5 x 16 cm (4.5 x 6.3") glassine envelope rubberstamped in blue at upper margin underneath opening flap, containing a single page torn out of a French pocket dictionary printed in black on recto and verso. With a heart cut out from the middle of the page that's been reaffixed with a sewing pin above the opening. Signed in blue ink by the artist at opening flap. Original multiple by Carlos Garcia featuring a heart cut out of a French pocket dictionary. By one of the main participants and organizers of Écart's many activities alongside John M. Armleder and Patrick Lucchini. Not pictured in Lionel Bovier and Christophe Cherix's anthology 'ECART: Geneva, 19691982,' but a 'Note' section toward the end mentions a Carlos Garcia project titled '1/278' that was 'lost' from the collections documented at the time of publishing. Our assumption is that this may possibly be that project given the '018/278' numbering along the bottom of this example. Faint indents to glassine envelope from the sewing pin, and age toning to dictionary page on account of the paper quality. Very good or better. Ref.: 'ECART: Geneva, 19691982,' Bovier, Lionel, Christophe Cherix, eds., 2019possibly mentioned on p. 193. Scarce.
