Plain white endpapers. [Viii] pp prelim material, 395 numbered pp, plus one blank. Condition notes: boards retain their potent blue and gilt, though spine ends are rolled, corners bumped and top/tail board edgewear. Light soiling to top textblock edge. Unclipped Dj (in mylar) shows 2" closed tears top spine fold, top front fold, with additional general rubbing and small tears/chips. Binding slightly cocked. Discreet pencilled price front free endpaper (FFEP). Hinge beginning to weaken at title page, webbing just beginning to peek out. No foxing observed, pages lightly tanned but clean. Half dozen pages show lower corners turned. We personally inspect every book we offer.
