Worse yet, the other speaker may stop the conversation. Each of these instances is a break in communication small or large. It is like a break in the movement of electricity in an electrical circuit. If the flow is stopped at any place in the circuit, the whole system stops. When something blocks the flow of an idea, the conversation stops too.
