The author was not an optometrist nor an ophthalmologist but more of an ENT physician who wrote this book about definitions for ocular terms that were common in the 1930s and pertained more to those physicians (optometry and ophthalmology) who were interested in refraction the eye and prescribing -intelligently- glasses and contact lenses, but they were glass at that time. Many terms are the same as today but many are very archaic and not in common usage today. An interesting book for a look back at the information that became to be mostly in the realm of optometry. A clean very presentable copy.
