This is the first printing of this edition, published as a school study edition, edited with an introduction and notes by M.V. O'Shea. Lovely, full page drawings by Clara E. Atwood after paintings by Marie Seymour Lucas. This is a somewhat shoddy copy. The red cloth boards are worn and rubbed, the free front endpaper has been torn out, there's some damp damage to the base of the spine, edges are thumbed, and there are one or two minor stains throughout. A firmly bound, fairly clean reading copy.
