Dust Jacket - has a nearly unnoticable trace of rubbing at the tail of the spine and at the very tips of the upper outside corners. Faint evidence of handling visible on the rear cover. Not perfect, but book has a very nice overall appearance. Sand was a bestselling author in France during her time, rivaling even the sales numbers for Victor Hugo.
