Nine folding topographical maps and one on title page, detailing the route and terrain of the Maine portion of the Appalachian Trail. Although the binding is very tight the cover shows wear and possible exposure to the elements as there is a light tide mark to the very edges of the text block. (Text and maps unaffected). This guide was published shortly after the completion of the Appalachian Trail in August 1937 and served as an early official guide for hiking the Maine section.
