Nachdem deren Vater Orchamos Leukothoe, von Klytia verraten, lebendig begrub, wandt Apollon sich vollends von ihr ab. Clytia aß und trank nicht mehr, starrte nurmehr in die Sonne. Nach neun Tagen verwndelte sie sich in eine Sonnenblume, die ihre Blüte stets nach Apollos Sonnenwagen ausrichtet. - Probedruck vor der vollendeten Schrift. Alte Knickfalten komplett ausgelegen.
