In these 130 years, Singer reached these days by witnessing significant changes and transformations from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic. Beyond being a sewing machine brand, he gained political and social meanings. It was one of the goals of the anti -imperialist struggle of the boycott actions against the United States in the Ottoman Empire and 68 of Turkey. In 1905, Abdulhamid's bomb assassination, and 1908 proclamation-i Hrriyet strikes are also found in the name of Singer. In the social area, the people gained fame as a means of production in homes, especially in the struggle of poverty and unemployment. There are 3 important workers' actions in Singer's history. Two of them took place in Singer's sewing machine production in Kartal, and the other was in Singer's sales stores. Among these actions, the Actions in the 1964 Kartal Factory and the 1967 sales stores were the strike, and the workplace in the Kartal factory in 1969. All three actions are the experiences that should be kept on the history of labor with its original sides, incomplete, completed aspects, resistance, breaking points, success and failures.
