Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Corinne Ringel Bailey (illustratore). See photos for condition details. Hardcover, full image decoration on front board quarter bound in red cloth to spine. Exterior shows scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. There is also yellowing to the paper covered boards. The internal binding of the text portion of the pages is good but there are hinge cracks at both the front and rear boards. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting, no child scribbling found. Pages are quite dark and due to the poor quality of paper the publisher used in the front end page as chipping along the top edge. The book contains a color frontispiece with remaining illustrations being black and white.

A scrape on the back board makes one letter of the title illegible. The boards have several small spots of color loss, mostly on the background of the illustration. The front endpaper has two areas of scraped paper. About a fourth of the back endpaper has scribbling in light pink. One page margin has two closed tears tipped back together with glue. Interior pages unmarked save for previous owner's name inked on FFE. Hines slightly weakened, rear a little cracked. Full page color illustrations which some of which have shadowed onto the margins of facing pages. Quite attractive despite flaws. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
