In 334 pages with frontispiece, this 1927 First Edition from Saalfield has bright orange cloth-covered boards elaborately decorated & lettered in black to front & spine (note: only "Peggy" appears as title on exterior). This 8vo is in Good condition: completely clean inside, but with darker stain to exterior fore edge side of text block. Binding strong & front hinge is cracked/rear one show small holes from insect damage. Pages heavily tanned & somewhat brittle, but completely unmarked.The unclipped DJ (with art by Connie R. Bailey) is VG-: colorful, bright, & largely intact, but with chipping & rubbing to extremities; nicely protected in Free clear mylar cover.
