Octavo. 138pp. Small owner label on front pastedown. Binding and endleaves lightly foxed, a bit of wear at the spine base, very good in a toned and stained, fair dust jacket with chips and tears including a large chip at the spine base, internal foxing, and two small internal tape reinforcements. Signed by Field on the front blank. A biography told against the backdrop of Hoboken; Field "has no identifiable fingerprints, he was a witness to three murders, has the inherited right to display a Norman coat of arms and, although a polio cripple, he pulled three people from death in the Hudson River. .".
