Japanpapier stabilisiert, im Ganzen leichte Gbrsp. - Ball-Hennings, (1885 - 1948) , arbeitete nach der Volksschule als Dienstmädchen, bevor sie achtzehnjährig heiratete und sich einer Wanderbühne ans…chloß. Nach kurzer Ehe trennte sie sich von ihrem Mann und reiste als Vortragskünstlerin durch Deutschland. Seit 1914 war sie Mitarbeiterin des "Simplicissimus" in München, wo sie u.a. ihren späteren Mann Hugo Ball (Heirat 1920) kennenlernte; 1915 emigrierten beide in die Schweiz. In Zürich wurde sie Mitbegründerin des "Cabaret Voltaire" und der "Galerie Dada". Zuletzt lebte sie im Tessin und war eng mit Hermann Hesse befreundet, der 1956 ihre Briefe an Hermann Hesse herausgab. Ball-Hennings schrieb expressionistische Gedichte (Die letzte Freude, 1913), Märchen- und Legendennacherzählungen (Märchen am Kamin, 1943) sowie Erinnerungsliteratur an Hugo Ball, darunter Ruf und Echo.
