Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Used spiral-bound book in good condition. Matte black cover is scuffed, with a noticeable scrape on the front and a small <0.5 in. white stain on back cover. Red spiral binding in good condition except for discoloration on top edge. Pages are intact. Some discoloration at fore edge; foxing noted on 2 pages and a stain on another.

One loop of the steel spiral is bent inward about halfway up in a way that doesn't keep pages from turning. The spiral was painted red, largely flaked off, and is oxidizing slightly. There is little shelf wear (one page is torn near the edge), pages have tanned due to age. Tipped-in adhesive book plates seem to be intact. Some of the later pages and back cover seem slightly warped due to possible water damage. Demonstrations of modern design in typography, with over 160 examples of typography (mostly in color, many in facsimile) by the authors. Includes 9 tipped-in typographic bookplates, actual letterheads printed on various textured papers, business cards, menus, announcements, trademarks, posters, etc.
