One of two story collections written by Bangs as follow-ups to E.W. Hornung's popular series featuring anti-hero Arthur J. Raffles, a safe cracker. Hornung was the brother-in-law of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and his Raffles series was second only to Sherlock Holmes in popularity during his lifetime.
