Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover with slip case. Condizione: Very good. Presumed First Edition, First printing. [8], 55, [1] pages. Illustrated front cover. Color illustrations. Name of previous owner inside front cover. Barbara Mary Ward, Baroness Jackson of Lodsworth, DBE (23 May 1914 31 May 1981) was a British economist and writer interested in the problems of developing countries. To complement the text, The Girard Company asked the noted Philadelphia watercolorist, Howard Watson, to create a series of accompanying illustrations. "A large financial company in a large urban center prospers when its constituency prospers," notes Stephen S. Gardner, Chairman of the Board of The Girard Company. "Good corporate citizenship is at least in part enlightened self-interest.". Howard N, Watson (illustratore).…
