Jordan won both tournaments. 3) "Eleventh English Tournament Games for the Championship of England 1909", published by A.Bryson, Glasgow, 1909, 74pp, six b/w plates. 90 games annotated by Alex. Battersby.Jordan was once again the winner. 4)" The Problemists' Guide, or Book of Problems. End-games and Strokes", published by William Whyte "People's Journal" Office, Dundee, 1901. 129pp + ii. 380 problems and critical positions by 180 composers. 5) " World's Championship Draughts Match James Ferrie v. Richard Jordan 1896", published by A.Bryson, Glasgow, 70pp, sketches of the players. Although the date states 1896, this appears to be a reprint from the early 1900s. 40 games between the world champion and Scottish champion, annotated by James Lees.
