Soft cover. Condizione: Fine. Shanower, Eric (illustratore). First Thus. Incredibly scarce, especially in this near-perfect condition, this story was originally written by the brother-&-sister author as children in 1926, based on purported transmissions from a Ouija board. It was then published in serialized form in a monthly children's magazine, then reissued in 1981 in "The Baum Bugle''. This is the First Edition in book form, first printing, from Feb. 1993 (First, thus). In 104 pages, it includes new illustrations by Eric Shanower, an Introduction by L. Frank Baum's widow, Maud, & an Afterword by one of the authors (Virginia), along with a brief tale from Toto entitled, "From the Doghouse." With bright yellow/black/blue/green decorative wrappers, this softcover is in Fine condition: as bright & clean & crisp as Brand New! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
