The reason for the low condition grade is because it appears the first free end page is missing in the half title page is torn at the hinge area, though still securely attached. Signed by the author on the title page. There is a second signature located on the half title page as well. Not sure if this was the original owner or another autograph of someone of importance. D.P. Bowers, etc. Inscribed by author: "Compliments of the author. Fred J. Beaman. Dec. 15, 1931." Further inscribed "Merry Christmas 1931. F.J. Bearman is a Jackson man, at present Post Master, and this book has some 'local color.'" 96 pages.
