Hardcover. Condizione: Fair. Oblong folio. 400 pages : illustrations ; 29 x 36 cm. Original embossed red leather, gilt, all edges gilt. Moderate rubbing to edges, chipping and fraying to spine. Rear board detached, front board almost. Marginal soiling. This is an oversized or heavy book that requires additional postage for international delivery outside of Canada and the US. This book was published in 1895 after the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, which included an extensive art display. 100 of the paintings included in this work were displayed at the Exposition. Angelo Del Nero, Henri Guidicelli, and J. W. Beck contributed.
