Condizione: Very Good Minus. 2nd Impression. Full red crushed morocco leather binding by Hatchards of Piccadilly. Spine with five raised bands, and (misspelt) gilt title. Top page edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Gilt ruled turn-ins. Fading and rubbing to spine, slight wear to ends of spine and corners. Offsetting to edges of free endpapers. A few spots of foxing to page edges, very clean text throughout. A collection of six 17th Century conduct books, comprising: Francis Osborn's Advice to a Son (1656); Sir George Savile's Advice to a Daughter (1688); Sir Walter Raleigh's Instructions to his Son (circa 1632); Lord Burleigh's Advices to his Son (1617); Sir Matthew Hale's Advice to his Grand-Children (circa 1680); William, Earl of Bedford's Advice to his Sons (circa 1642). .
