Dans le second volume, l'histoire du Dauphiné et la description de cette province ont été rédigées par Béguillet, tandis que la partie sur la minéralogie du Dauphiné est l'oeuvre de Guettard. Beau fleuron de titre et grande vignette en tête de l'épitre au tome I, dessinés et gravés par Masquelier (le fleuron de titre est repris au tome III), grande vignette intitulée "Institution de l'ordre de la Toison d'Or par Philippe le Bon Duc de Bourgogne" par Moreau le jeune gravée par Duclos à la page 1 du tome I et grande vignette intitulée "Prise de possession du Dauphiné par Charles Ier Dauphin de France en 1349" par Le Barbier, gravée par Pauquet à la page 1 du tome III ; dans le second volume 10 PLANCHES DE MINÉRALOGIE hors-texte sous serpentes, imprimées sur vergé fort, contenant 20 sujets numérotés dessinés par Carême de Fécamp et gravés par J. Robert. La collation de notre exemplaire est rigoureusement identique à celle de l'exemplaire de Robert Schuhmann telle que décrite par Cohen.
