Het 'Aanhangzel' behelst een fel-persoonlijke aanval op Betje Wolff, maar werd alleen om zijn 'godslasterlijke' inhoud verboden, 27 febr.1787 in Den Haag, 9 jan.1789 te Haarlem (zie W.P.C.Knuttel, Verboden boeken in de Republiek der Vereenigde Nederlanden, 's-Grav.1914, nr.2).
