La première partie porte sur le traitement des images radiologiques médicales et plus particulièrement elle s intéresse à la recherche par le contenu et à la classification de ces images…. La seconde partie se concentre sur la reconnaissance des visages. En ce qui concerne la recherche des images, nous proposons en premier lieu d améliorer les contextes de formes en projetant les histogrammes dans un espace réduit qui tient en considération les variations les plus importantes. Ensuite, on propose une nouvelle variante de ce descripteur de forme en y introduisant les notions de la logique floue. En ce qui concerne la classification, on propose d adapter l outil de reconnaissance de la parole HTK pour faire la catégorisation des images. Ceci demande de prendre en considération l absence de la composante de temps pour l image. Cette contrainte est rectifiée si les composantes des vecteurs caractéristiques décrivant chaque image respectent une relation d ordre bien définie. Dans la deuxième partie, nous proposons un système de reconnaissance des visages basé sur les MMCs et l approche des visages propres (Eigenfaces).
