The Aruch is the work of a late eleventh century Italian scholar Nathan ben Jechiel of Rome and likely even influenced the commentaries of Rashi and the Tosafists. It was one of the first Hebrew books to be published. Contains an introduction and additions by the seventeenth century Hamburg physician Benjamin Musaphia.
